Succesful debut for Mercedes-Benz C 11

    In its first competitive outing the new Group C Mercedes-Benz C 11 racing sports car posts a one-two win. The Silver Arrow of Mauro Baldi/Jean-Louis Schlesser passes the finish line ahead of the car driven by Jochen Mass/Karl Wendlinger. The C 11, an all-new design, is equipped with a revised version of the M 119 four-valve V8 engine used in the C 9.
