Test airship takes to the air

The motorised test airship owned by the Prussian Airship Battalion sets out on its maiden flight. Powered by a 30 hp / 22 kW four-cylinder engine from Süddeutsche Automobilfabrik Gaggenau, the semi-rigid airship goes on to set a new air endurance record of 3 hours and 27 minutes on 23 July.
