E-Klasse T-Modell der Baureihe 124 - From June 1993 forwards the Mercedes-Benz designers modify the body of all mid-sized models of the 124 range, stylistically updating and adapting it to the other model ranges. The most conspicuous characteristic of the modified vehicles is the radiator grill which has been redesigned using the example of the S-Class. The so-called badge radiator exhibits a much thinner chrome frame compared with the previous version and the Mercedes star sits on the bonnet, as it does on the S-Class saloons. The lamp units have been modified as well: clear cover lenses on the front turn signals and bi-chromatic covers on the tail lights.
