One-millionth multi-link independent suspension

Three-and-a-half years after the start of large-scale production at the Untertürkheim sub-plant Mettingen, the one-millionth multi-link independent suspension is assembled. At this point in time, the patented rear axle developed by Daimler-Benz is installed in all passenger car models in the 201 and 124 series.
