DaimlerChrysler and Mitsubishi seal alliance

DaimlerChrysler Chairman Jürgen E. Schrempp and Katsuhiko Kawasoe, President of Mitsubishi Motors, sign contracts setting the seal on an alliance between the two companies. DaimlerChrysler acquires a 34 % share in Mitsubishi Motors.
