Eva-Maria Falk comes from Wesel on the Lower Rhine and is a journalist by profession. The motorsport bug infected her during a 1958 interview with Swedish rally driver Ewy Rosqvist, who left all her male competitors behind in the 1962 Argentinian Touring Grand Prix with her co-driver Ursula Wirth.

Eva-Maria Falk was still competing in her first rallies in 1958. Later, the friendly relationship that had developed in the meantime with Ewy Rosqvist led to joint entries in the 1963 Rally Poland and the following year in the Rally Monte-Carlo, the Rally Portugal, the Rally Acropolis and the Argentinian Touring Grand Prix.

At the "Monte", the two ladies succeeded in winning the class up to 2500 cc with their Mercedes-Benz 220 SE, while at the touring car marathon in Argentina they completed the triple Mercedes-Benz triumph in third place in a 300 SE.
